Zaisan Hill

Zaisan Hill

A power plant smokestack, crows, and an ovoo, a traditional Mongolian shrine, made for an interesting shot on this weekend’s stormy hike.

    Hi Peter!
Chris and Uli here! Jill just showed us your very cool blog. What an amazing country this must be. Have you had a chance to read Chingiz Aitmatov’s “Jamilia”? If not, this is the place to read it! All the best,
    Uli

      Chris and Uli,

It’s so great to hear from you two! I’m really glad Jill shared my blog with you!

I haven’t yet been able to find Jamilia, but I’ll certainly look for it here. I remember hearing all about it from Uli! I’ll check out a couple bookstores but I may have to wait until I get home. Ordering things here can take a loong time…

      Stay tuned for more updates!

      Take care,

      Peter
